Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was involved in a serious car accident following the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Burnley on Saturday.
The 25-year-old footballer was inside his £700k Rolls Royce and ended up crashing into a traffic island as footage showing the extent of the accident emerged on social media.
Luckily, Rashford remained unharmed during the accident that badly damaged his car but the 25-year-old was left “shaken up” by the crash, reported The Sun.
The Cops rushed to the scene but as per reports, no arrests were made and no ambulances were called.
Man United’s captain Bruno Fernandes, who scored the winner, rushed to the accident side and was the first one to offer his help, the report added.
The Man United star owns three Rolls Roycest, the £700k Black Badge Wraith involved in the crash, a £390k Black Badge Cullinan and just last month he bought a £560k Cullinan Blue Shadow.
Before the game, Rashford said: "One good result, one good performance, can be a game-changer at this club.
"It's a difficult position and I'm not as happy as I'd like to be, but there's only one way to get back this happiness is to seek results.
"We know the effect that a victory can have on the team and then it's up to the players to show consistency.
"That's what we lacked. Last year, we were very consistent at home, but very irregular away."
That was United’s first win in their last four games. United were defeated by Bayern Munich 4-3 in their group-stage encounter in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) on Wednesday.
Before that, they lost to Brighton 3-1 at home and with the same scoreline to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Erik Ten Hag’s men will take on Crystal Palace next on Tuesday at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup, third round.
It must be noted that the 20-time Premier League (PL) champions have been struggling with injuries in the squad.
Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Amad Diallo, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have been ruled out for a time period after sustaining injuries.
